Back Pain
Chiropractic care realigns the vertebrae of the spine to help relieve inflammation that can cause nerve irritation and joint malfunction. Once your spine is aligned, it’s better able to support the body both at rest and in motion while allowing the body to heal on its own. Chiropractic care balances out uneven forces and stresses on the nervous system, allowing for optimal function. We also work with nerve entrapments such as sciatica. As the nerve compression is relieved, normal nerve signalling is restored, relieving the pain, numbness, burning and other symptoms that occur when the sciatic nerve is compressed. Regular chiropractic adjustments can prevent recurring nerve pain.

Often, headaches are caused by tension in the musculature of the neck, misalignment of joints in the neck which causes loss of motion, and tension through the jaw and face, sometimes due to tongue tie. Having a chiropractic evaluation following an accident, even if you feel fine, is the best way to ensure that your neck and spine won’t develop pain over time. Receiving treatment also helps by making adjustments to the spine that can help relieve or reduce inflammation that could cause pain later on. If gone untreated, injuries from even a minor fender bender can cause long-term pain down the line. Most commonly, auto-related injuries involve the back and the neck. The impact and resulting jolts from an accident can cause soft tissue injury like whiplash, and damage the spinal joints and discs. Often issues in the joints may present as tension, aching or a decrease in the range of motion. Regular chiropractic care can help to maintain mobility and flexibility through the leg, hip and pelvis.

Prenatal Care
With our pregnant moms, we use gentle techniques that are safe throughout your pregnancy. Benefits of seeing a chiropractor during your pregnancy include balancing the pelvis restoring proper motion, relieving back pain, pelvic pain and sciatica. Adjustments also include light soft tissue work to relieve tension and allow for proper function of the pelvic musculature.
